About Bishop James F. Harris  E-mail Bishop James F. Harris

                                  Bishop  James  F.  Harris
  was filled  with the Holy
Spirit  at  the  age of 12 and later within  the same
year began ministering serving  as a worker  in  the
youth  ministry and  aiding   the Pastor. In 1967, at
the  instruction of  his pastor he  began pastoring  a
small  mission   in  a  storefront,  which    outgrew  its
premises  in   years  time.  Following   the  death  of  his
senior   pastor  he   began   pastoring  the  former Highway
Christian  Church  of Christ.  In  1979  after  receiving a  vision from the Lord,
he  formed  the   Redeemed  Assembly  of  Jesus  Christ  and  has since then financed,  organized  and  equipped  many  churches   both   nationally   and internationally.

Bishop Harris  is a  prolific preacher,  astute teacher, and  hungry  student of
the Word of God. He specializes in such  topics  as  faith,  worship,  finance,
stewardship,  love,  marriage, and  forgiveness.  Bishop  possesses a master
in Theology and  is currently  in  pursuit of  his  doctorate.  Throughout  his
ministry, God has greatly  used Bishop  Harris.  He  continues  to  preach  the
uncompromising,   non-denominational   Gospel   of   Jesus  Christ.  With  his Pentecostal fervor  and  simplistic,  contemporary  biblical  applications,   he
continues  to  change  the  lives of multicultural individuals. Bishop epitomizes
the  definition  of  service,  leadership  and  calls  everything  to  a  spirit  of excellence.

About Lady Sylvia Harris  E-mail Lady Sylvia Harris

Lady Sylvia Harris,  affectionately   called  "Lady"   was filled  with the Holy
Spirit  at  the age of  18 and immediately became  active  in ministry. In 1962
she  was  joined  in  holy  matrimony  to  the  then Minister   James  F. Harris
where  she  then   and  currently  works tirelessly  at  his  side  promulgating
the Word  of God  to  those who  are  lost and encouraging the saints of God.

Today, Lady Harris serves as Co-Pastor of the Redeemed Assembly of  Jesus
Christ Association, Director of  the Women's Ministry, and using her experience as  a  mother,  now  teaches  and  mentors youth on how to  be natural  and spiritual   giants.   Obtaining  her  bachelors  in   Pastoral  Counseling   and Administration, she is now in pursuit of her masters.

Lady's  genuine  love  for souls has  gifted her with a powerful ministry and  a
special  anointing   to  counsel  and  teach  inner  healing  to  the spiritually,  physically,   and    emotionally  scared.   With  her  loving  nature,  and  work
ethics,  Lady  Harris  is  the  epitome  of  the  virtuous  woman.

When  Bishop  and  Lady Harris  were  born,  it  must  have  been a year  of champions. They were  born to reign.   Bishop  and  Lady possesses the  very character of Christ with their faith, wisdom, patience, and the ability to love, give and forgive. They celebrate 40 years of marriage and  are  the  proud
parents   of   four   lovely  saved  daughters,  Alicia Harris-Morris,  E. Denise
Harris-Wilson,  Danielle  Harris-Branch, Tione  Harris-Thorne,  four son-in-laws, and  three  grandchildren  who  are  all  very  active  in  ministry.

Their crazy and reckless faith challenges the people of God to never let  God
rest until  He completes   that  which  He  has  begun.  Bishop Harris' famous
benediction states, "I reach out into the impossible and grab hold and I
hold until the  impossible  becomes  the  visible  and   the  possible.  All
things  are  mine,  I  shall suffer  no  loss  because I belong to Christ and
Christ is God."
They  challenge the  people  of  God  to  see what  has  not
been  seen,  do  what  has  not  been  done   and  go  places that  have  not
been  chartered.
